JK Rowling has been outspoken about her feelings about trans women. Rowling may be homophobic, but she has never been labeled as such.
JK Rowling’s opinions on trans women and women’s rights go a long way. Rowling has been able to open up again thanks to a Times interview with Keir Starmer.
Starmer, a former lawyer and the Labour Party’s leader, recently claimed that trans women are women by law, and that the question of respect and dignity comes into play when discussing those who have gone through the transition.
Rowling, however, did not found the statement in favor of women, as she replied to the Starmer stating that the Labour party can no longer be counted on to defend women rights and women are scared, angry, and outraged.
