The pair are competing against each other at the upcoming Netflix Slam live that is an exhibition match being broadcast on the online streaming platform.

Tennis superstars will meet in a series of matches on Sunday, March 3 at the luxurious Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in Las Vegas.

Reigning Wimbledon champions Alcaraz and 22-time Grand Slam men’s singles title Nadal will play off in a one-of-a-kind exhibition match at the Michelob ULTRA Arena.

Tickets for the event are on sale and individuals with deeper pockets can book a private session to learn from two of the world’s best players.

A one-on-one training session with Nadal will set those wanting to participate back $150,000 (£118,000) per person, while a lesson with Alcaraz will cost the same six-figure sum.

Details on how long each session lasts, what’s included and how much teaching both of the tennis stars give you are sparse and anyone wishing to enquire must call to book.

Private experiences with the pair are sold out, but those still wishing to get closer to two of the sport’s biggest names can still book onto group sessions alongside other paying punters.

Group clinic’s with Alcaraz and Nadal are cheaper but will still cost $50,000 (£40,000).

Commenting on the upcoming Netflix event that is tasked with attracting a new audience to tennis in America, Nadal stated: ‘I’m very excited for my first visit to Las Vegas.

‘I’m also very excited to be playing with my fellow countryman Carlos Alcaraz. I am sure it will be a fantastic night of tennis.’

The event will be dual broadcast on Netflix in both English and Spanish.
