Amy Hart has revealed she found pregnancy ‘liberating’ because it was the first time she had a break from counting calories since she was just 10 years old.

The Love Island star, 31, loved ‘eating for two’ while carrying her now nine-month-old son, Stanley, but is now on a mission to lose weight before her four-day wedding in September.

She is gearing up to marry fiancé Sam Ranson and in an exclusive chat with MailOnline, she revealed that they also want to welcome another child in 2024.

Amy, who has partnered with Femme Health, said she wants to slim down for her wedding after she went from a size 8 in Love Island to a size 16 after pregnancy.

Chatting about her pregnancy to MailOnline, Amy said: ‘I loved it. I’ve been calorie counting since I was about 10.’

She continued: ‘So to have nine months of being able to eat whatever I want, whenever I want, was really liberating.

‘I’ve always been really conscious of my stomach so I would wear tight dresses in pregnancy. I literally wore Oh Polly spandex dresses for nine months exclusively, so, yeah, I just had the best time.’

While Amy may have felt liberated during her pregnancy, the influencer said she is now planning to lose weight for her musical-themed wedding.

For the big day, the happy couple will wed in Spain and have a huge bonanza as she plans to have her first dance to a song that is featured in a musical.

She has already picked out her dress and is currently organising the big day with her wedding planner.

But alongside the maniac planning that comes with a wedding, Amy has revealed that she want to look her absolute best for the special day and so is on a mission to slim down.

She said: ‘I am obviously shredded for the wedding, but also for Stanley. I am trying to lose weight and I don’t think there’s anything wrong with saying that. I think there’s a lot of a lot of pressure to say, ”oh I I’m not trying to go. I just want to be healthy.”

‘I wanna look the best on my wedding day and for each different person that is different and I know how I will feel good and right now it’s not it.

‘And I’m only here because of the result of eating whatever I wanted for the last year. And I’ve done that. So I’ve got to get out of it.’

Amy continued: ‘There’s nothing wrong with being a size 16. If I could eat fast food every day of my life, I would but I’ve got to be healthy for my baby. I wanna be around for him as long as I can.

‘Also it was very easy to get from a 10 to a 16. So I can imagine it’s even easier to get from a 16 to an 18 and an 18 to a 20. So I’ve got to do something about it before I get so unhealthy that I’m not around for my little boy.’

But it is not just Stanley who she is hoping to be healthy for as she is looking into her fertility options with Femme Health in the hope of having another child in 2024.

Amy has a low egg count and so has to heavily consider IVF and other fertility options going forward.

Stanley was born without clinical help but given Amy and Sam want four children together, they are opting to keeping their options open.

Led by women, for women; Femme Health aims to offer a light-hearted yet supportive platform for fertility and women’s health.

The online store is split into sections for easy navigation; including women’s health, sex and active fertility and features over 40 brands and 160 products.

Amy said: ‘I see us having like a really like big boisterous family but you want your kids to have like the best of everything and it’s like every time you have another baby that pot of money gets divided up again. So we’ll have a second and see how we go from there.’

The blonde beauty found fame on season five of Love Island in 2019 and quickly fell for Curtis Pritchard but she quit the show when he admitted his head had been turned in Casa Amor.

Since, the brand ambassador for Femme Health has had better luck with love but she revealed that if she was still a single and invited to Love Island All Stars, then she believes she would be best coupled up with Chris Taylor.

Now she finally got her happy ending with Sam and the pair will work with Femme Health throughout 2024 to ease the flow of pregnancy.

Speaking about the brand, Amy said: ‘I think femme health is such an amazing platform.

‘There is so much conflicting information online, and so much to trawl through, having one place to shop before you visit a clinic is incredible, with lots of helpful things like blogs, product spotlights and experts is absolutely amazing.

‘I wish femme had been around when I first started looking into my fertility’
