Chris Brown recently took a break from his busy schedule to spend quality time with his daughter, Royalty Brown. The pair were spotted at Universal Studios in Hollywood, where they enjoyed a day filled with fun, rides, and some memorable photo moments.
While Brown’s career often demands his attention, he’s equally committed to being a dedicated father to his three kids – Royalty, Aeko, and Lovely. Royalty, born in 2014 to Nia Guzman, Aeko, born in 2019 to Ammika Harris, and Lovely, born in 2022 to Diamond Brown, hold a special place in his heart.
What sets Chris Brown apart in the music industry is not just his chart-topping hits but also his strategic business decisions. At the age of 29, he made history by becoming the youngest artist to gain ownership of his music masters. This ownership, he emphasized, is not just for himself but also for securing a bright future for his children.
In a recent episode of the “Club Shay Shay” podcast, hosted by Shannon Sharpe, Chris opened up about his career choices and his commitment to ensuring his offspring’s financial stability.
“I don’t think I would sell them,” he told Sharpe when asked if he plans to sell his masters. “I might lease them out and stuff like that later (he laughed), but I don’t think I would because I feel like, as a Black artist, that’s what we’ve been wanting forever… to be able to get our masters.”
Brown continued, “For me to be able to do that and be one of the first young cats to do it, it’s like I beat the game. But, I feel like I wouldn’t [sell my catalog] at this point because that’s something that my children’s children’s children can eat off of.”
