Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are reportedly turning inwards after dealing with multiple setbacks in both their solo and joint business ventures recently.

The Duke and Duchess are said to be pivoting their focus to their social and love lives, scheduling more date nights and reconfiguring their “work/life balance” to spend more time with their friends and children in Santa Barbara.

A source told Closer magazine, as per The Mirror, that the couple is trying to “take the pressure off in any way they can” after facing a slew of business pressures and complications.

They said: “With so much on their plates right now, they’re trying to be sensible and practical and pour all of their love and attention onto each other, and the wonderful children they already feel so lucky to have.”

The new insights come amid conflicting claims about the couple’s relationship status due to financial turmoil.

After losing their deal with Spotify, a source told PageSix that they are under immense financial pressure “to fund their lavish California lifestyle”, which includes staggering security costs and their $14million Montecito mansion.

Yesterday, RadarOnline revealed that a source claim the pair were taking time apart to “figure out what hit them” and that the Prince is hoping to “find himself”.

However, hours later Karl Larsen, a friend of Meghan’s estranged father, shared a snap of the couple in a cuddly pose.

He said: “So nice to see my friends Harry and Meghan on Friday before they got away for the long weekend. Please do not believe the media. They are very much in love, and are happy together nothing but smiles and laughter here.”

The Prince is actually set to be heading to Africa as part of his work on a new solo Netflix documentary.

Last month, the couple’s Spotify deal came to an abrupt end with their Archetypes podcast ending with just one season.

Among other recent disappointments for the pair was their joint Netflix documentary, Harry & Meghan, being snubbed from the Emmy nominations although it did garner an HCA TV Award nomination.
