Russian General Yakov Rezantsev has been killed in the war. There is, however, no video of the incident shared. Russian so far, has not declared his death either.
The 48 years old Lieutenant General Yakov bragged on the fourth day of the war that it would be over in a matter of hours, was killed after the Ukrainian army destroyed the commanding post of the 49th Russian Army in southern Ukraine.

Yakov Rezantsev was born on June 17, 1973, in the village of Kolovy Mys in the Ust-Pristansky district of the Altai Territory of Russia. He was in military service since 1990.
