Ivanka and Eric Trump stepped up to represent the former president at LIV Golf Bedminster during the second round Saturday.

Donald Trump, who had stolen the show at the pre-tournament pro-am competition Thursday and the first round on Friday, had been pulled away to Iowa Saturday and was unable to attend Day Two of the breakaway’s event at his Bedminster, New Jersey, golf course.

But the 77-year-old’s daughter, Ivanka, and youngest son Eric stepped up in his absence.

Trump took center stage on the first tee box ahead of the shotgun start for round one and Eric took over the hosting duties for Day Two.

In pictures exclusive to DailyMail.com, Eric and his wife Lara watched on as overnight leader Cam Smith, Patrick Reed and Charles Howell III kickstarted their second rounds.

Lara looked effortlessly chic in a white t-shirt, lilac golf skort and a matching light purple cap with ‘TRUMP’ emblazoned above the brim in bright orange stitching.

The couple were joined by their two young children, son Eric ‘Luke’, 5, and daughter, Carolina, who turns four later this month,

The youngsters looked up to the sky in amazement as they watched LIV’s customary pre-golf Frog-X parachute team landing.

Carolina, dressed in a matching blue golf polo and skirt set, clutched a teddy bear amid all the excitement.

Following, the shotgun start, the family retired to their private suite in the gallery overlooking the 18th green.

Eric’s sister, Ivanka, was also spotted in attendance with husband, Jared Kushner, but the couple opted to keep cool and sought refuge in the suite throughout the day.

They were spotted in video and photos exclusive to DailyMail.com heading towards the clubhouse at her dad’s luxury golf course with their two sons Theodore and Joseph.

The couple, who were seen cozying up at a New York Mets game last week, were later spotted watching the on-course action from a balcony behind the final hole.

Trump was unable to attend the second round of Saudi-backed LIV Golf’s event at his course as he was busy wooing GOP voters at Iowa State Fair.

He made a grand entrance at Iowa State Fair on Saturday – overshadowing Ron DeSantis and other contenders for the Republican presidential nomination who were trying to counter the power of the former president.

Trump, who is leading DeSantis, his closest rival, by double digits in the polls, told DailyMail.com the Florida governor should drop out of the race.

‘He didn’t have many people show up,’ Trump said of DeSantis. ‘That’s not good. He’s doing very poorly in the polls. Very, very poorly. And I think he’s going to be leaving the race pretty soon, I think.’

Earlier in the week, Trump had been winning over his supporters back in Bedminster.

He had skipped a court appearance in Florida Thursday in order to pay the pro-am with Eric, Steve Witkoff and Patrick Reed, telling DailyMail.com that he ‘didn’t feel it was necessary.’

Trump’s lawyers entered a not guilty plea in his behalf, while his valet Walt Nauta who attended the appearance in Fort Pierce, Florida, made the same plea.

They were made in relation to charges of misleading federal investigators searching Mar-a-Lago for classified documents.

However, the following day, Trump was joined by Nauta for the first round of LIV Bedminster as they put on a united front.

Nauta was swiftly by his boss’s side just one day later as he accompanied the former President on his amble along the driving range – carrying his three phones for him.

Trump was greeted by great fanfare as he arrived on the range, making a beeline for Phil Mickelson, who was warming up in the first bay.

The crowds in the gallery overlooking the practice ground called out to him, among them were cries of, ‘Let’s go, 45,’ and, ‘2024 baby.’

His high spirits continued as the first tee box provided yet another stage for him to bask in the admiration.

Patrons practically hung over the side of the railings to get a glimpse of him, while those stood at the ropes were about four rows deep.

Trump watched on as last week’s winner and captain of Crushers GC Bryson DeChambeau, Dustin Johnson, and the winner of last year’s LIV Bedminster event Henrik Stenson.
