Bayern Munich bosses are travelling to London TODAY for Harry Kane talks with Daniel Levy, after last week’s negotiations were called off at short notice by Tottenham chairman

  • Bayern chiefs are travelling to London today to discuss a potential move for Kane
  • The Bundesliga side are set to sit down and negotiate with Spurs’ Daniel Levy
  • Tottenham expect the German club to submit a third bid for the England captain

Bayern Munich bosses travelled to London today for crunch talks with Tottenham’s Daniel Levy over a move for Harry Kane.

The two parties were set to meet on Friday, only for the negotiation to be cancelled at short notice by the Spurs’ chairman.

Now footage shared by BILD’s Bayern reporter Heiko Niedderer on Twitter has shown the club’s CEO Jan-Christian Dreesen and technical director Marco Neppe taking off from Oberpfaffenhofen Airport to the English capital just before 10am UK time.

Kane has just one year remaining on his current deal at Spurs and the London club are expecting a third offer from the Bundesliga side in the coming days.

Bayern are set to give the England captain a four-year deal so he can join the fold of manager Thomas Tuchel ahead of his first full season in charge.

Tuchel wants a centre forward as his top priority, with star striker Sadio Mane closing in on a £25m move to Saudi Pro League side Al-Nassr.

Tottenham are expected to hold out for £100m for their all-time leading goal scorer.

French defender Lucas Hernandez is Bayern’s record transfer to date, costing £68m to sign from Atletico Madrid.

Last week, Bayern president Herbert Hainer publicly declared their strong interest in bringing Kane across to the German giants.

Last Friday morning, Bayern officials were set to charter a private jet before returning the same evening. However, eagle-eyed users of flight tracking websites noted the change of plans, which was due to a change in plans by Levy.

Despite the switch-up on last week’s arrangements, it is believed that talks are progressing as normal.

Monday’s conversation is set to make a clearer path to Kane’s future, either with Spurs or in the Bundesliga.

Levy has only recently returned from Tottenham’s tour of Australia and South East Asia, but he has reportedly been told to ensure Kane is sold this summer before letting him leave for nothing in 12 months time.
