Holly, who was arrested over the shooting along with two others, was booked at the Union Parish Detention Center after turning himself in on Thursday.

Sheriff Dusty Gates of the Union Parish Sheriff’s Office in Farmerville says the investigation is ongoing.

It is believed there is the possibility that another shooter was involved, with Gates adding that although they are yet to be identified, further arrests are anticipated.

Following Holly’s arrest, LSU said in a statement that he has been suspended from the team ‘indefinitely’.

‘We are aware that a student-athlete has been arrested in relation to a shooting in Union Parish,’ LSU said. ‘This student-athlete has been suspended indefinitely from all team activities, in accordance with departmental policies.

‘Out of respect for the judicial process, we will have no further comment.’

According to ESPN’s Pete Thamel , Holly is being held on a $512,000 bond.
