Yvette Kreb and Christof Kreb – Colorado Springs Murder Suicide Timeline – According to the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office, the father murdered his wife and two children in a murder-suicide.
Authorities said Monday that a Colorado father killed his wife, two of their children, and himself at their home in El Paso County over the weekend in what they believe was a murder-suicide.
Christof Kreb, 55, is suspected of killing his wife of 26 years, Yvette Siegert-Kreb, 50, and two of their children, Felicity Kreb, 13, and Barrett Kreb, 9, on Saturday, according to El Paso County sheriff’s Lt. Deborah Mynatt.

The family lived at 1350 Pleier Drive outside of Monument, property records show. Deputies were called to the home just after 10 a.m. Saturday for a report that someone there was seriously injured and needed help, Mynatt said.
When deputies arrived, they found all four family members dead. The cause and manner of their deaths has not been released.
Christof Kreb was part-owner of Specialty Sports and Supply, a gun shop in Colorado Springs, according to business records kept by the Colorado Secretary of State’s Office, which show he was also the registered agent for the business.
A person who answered the phone at the shop on East Fountain Boulevard declined to comment Monday.
Both Christof Kreb and his wife were U.S. Army veterans, said Laura Muir Mellini, who is serving as a representative for the family. Yvette Kreb was a retired neonatal intensive care unit nurse, Muir Mellini said.
“She was a tireless advocate for mistreated and neglected children,” Muir Mellini said.
USA Shooting, a nonprofit organization headquartered in Colorado Springs that promotes shooting sports and works with Olympic and Paralympic athletes, featured Yvette Siegert-Kreb in a May 2020 newsletter.
The story, which focused on Yvette Siegert-Kreb’s mask-making during the pandemic, said the family had eight children, five of whom were adopted. The newsletter said most family members were involved in competitive sport shooting and noted that two of the Krebs’ children had recently competed in Olympic air rifle and air pistol trials.
The newsletter post appeared to have been deleted Monday.
Muir Mellini said Felicity Kreb was adopted from China, and her brother Barrett was adopted from Albania.
