Shocking moment two carjackers speed off in Connecticut man’s Aston Martin after following him home and violently beating him in his garage

This is the shocking moment two carjackers beat a man in his garage before speeding off in his luxury Aston Martin.

Surveillance footage shows the victim, who has not been named, trying to fight off the pair at his home in Westport, Connecticut, on Sunday afternoon.

But the two masked thugs overpower him, snatching the keys from his hands before forcing him out of the drivers seat.

The attackers then jump into the car and later race off as the elderly man desperately claws at the door to his fancy supercar.

The suspects are still unknown, but they have been identified as two males that police believe ‘targeted and followed’ the victim to his residence in a blue BMW

In a press release from the Westport Police Department, Lieutenant Eric Woods responded to a call at 3.50pm about a residential burglary and carjacking on Bayberry Lane.

The victim suffered minor injuries and declined any medical attention. 

The suspects are still unknown, but they have been identified as two males that police believe ‘targeted and followed’ the victim to his residence in a blue BMW. 

The BMW was later reported stolen out of Norwalk, and both cars were last seen traveling north on Route 8. 

After they punch and hit him several times, the two assailants hop into the rare sports car and try to back it out, but the victim wouldn’t back down

One of the suspects opened the door of the silver BMW next to the expensive sports car in the midst of the attack

In the video the two suspects approached the man in his car as the victim said: ‘Somebody call the police, now!’ 

Then each carjacker surrounded him and opened the passenger and driver door as the man put up a fight. 

That is when both suspects attempt to pull him out of his car seat as they shove him on the garage floor. 

After they punch and hit him several times, the two assailants hop into the rare sports car and try to back it out, but the victim wouldn’t back down. 

They continued to punch the man and backed the car up with the man hanging out of the driver’s door. 

A woman can be heard in the distance and she screamed for help from inside the home. 

Both suspects dragged the victim out of his car and shoved him to the garage floor before they got away with it 

There have been no arrests, but the two thieves were last seen driving north on Route 8, one in the stolen blue Aston Martin and the other in a stolen blue BMW

Along with the Aston Martin, three other luxury vehicles were parked in the victim’s large home garage. 

One of the suspects opened the door of the silver Aston Martin next to the expensive sports car in the midst of the attack. 

The victim told authorities that when he returned home, the two suspects entered his garage, assaulted him, and forcibly removed him from his car. 

‘There have been no significant developments in the investigation as of this writing. The Aston Martin has not been recovered and there have been no arrests. The dark blue BMW that was involved was later reported stolen from Norwalk,’ said a statement from the Westport Police Department.

The Westport Police Department are actively investigating the incident and encourage anyone with information to contact them as soon as possible. 

Bulletins have also been posted about the vicious carjacking in neighboring towns and with Connecticut State Police. 

The Stamford Advocate reported that in a release sent out on Monday, Woods said the town was going to ‘hold a community forum on Wednesday at 7pm in the town hall auditorium to discuss car thefts, vehicle break-ins and the carjacking incident.’
