Ed has been awarded £900,000 in legal costs, which amounts to $1.1 million in US dollars, Billboard reports. Ed has not made any sort of statement regarding this case since he won.

Ed has been sued for copyright infringement twice before. He was sued over his song “Photograph,” which settled out of court, and was hit with a $100 million lawsuit for “Thinking Out Loud” in 2018. The legal battle over “Thinking Out Loud” is reportedly still ongoing.
