Jennifer Rene Pusaki, also known as Jen Psaki, is the current White House Press Secretary’s 34th American political adviser. She was a CNN political contributor from 2017 to 2020.

She was born on December 1, 1978, in Stamford, Connecticut, to her parents as the eldest of three girls.

Jen Psaki just announced that she is leaving the white house and the curiosity on the internet has started regarding her replacement. While it is sure that she will be replaced by some renowned politician but the name is yet to be revealed.

The news about her stepping down from the White House started after she signed up with MSNBC TV.  Communications staffers usually take the TV job only after they terminate an administration.

According to two individuals familiar with the arrangements, Psaki has been in frequent contact with the White House counsel’s office regarding her departure. She’s been cautious about the ethical and legal implications of her intentions.

There have been no contracts signed. While in office, Government Ethics Rules limit how public officials can pursue private-sector employment possibilities.

Why Is Jen Psaki Stepping Down From The White House?

According to a person close to the situation, Jen Psaki is in exclusive discussions with MSNBC to join the network once she departs the White House in May. MSNBC has been working with its compliance attorneys to ensure that their chats did not break any government restrictions.

Psaki is now in exclusive discussions with MSNBC, and a contract is close to being finalized. Puck reported last month that Psaki had also had discussions with CNN and that other networks were interested in signing her.

Psaki will host a show on NBCUniversal’s Peacock streaming platform for MSNBC.

She will also be a part of MSNBC’s cable network’s live programming as a voice on various shows, although she will not be presenting the 9 p.m. hour in place of Rachel Maddow, as had been predicted.
