“We are sad to share that the Hollywood Vampires will be rescheduling our three US tour dates this coming week,” the band – which also features members Alice Cooper, Joe Perry, and Tommy Henriksen – announced on Twitter.

“Johnny has sustained a painful injury to his ankle following his recent appearances and has been advised by his doctor not to travel,” the statement continued. “He is devastated by this turn of events, but looks forward to resting up so all four Vampires can bring their absolute best to the tour in Europe.”

The shows, originally scheduled for May 30, May 31 and June 1 in Manchester, New Hampshire, Boston, Mass., and Bethel, New York, respectively, and have now been rescheduled for late July.

It’s unclear when and how Johnny sustained the injury. Just two weeks ago Johnny attended the premiere of his new movie Jeanne du Barry at the 2023 Cannes Film Festival.

If you missed it, Johnny‘s daughter Lily-Rose Depp made some very rare comments about her father.

We wish Johnny a speedy recovery.
