Kim Zolciak needs a job.
According to sources, amid her recent financial struggles, Kim is “begging” Bravo to take her back and find a spot for her on the network that made her famous. The former Real Housewives of Atlanta Housewife is currently facing not one but two tax liens alongside her estranged husband, Kroy Biermann.
“Kim knows how to make great reality TV — and not much else — which is why she’s begging them to take her back! She needs the money. She needs a job. She’s desperate!” a source told media outlet Radar Online.
Kim and Kroy reportedly owe over $1 million to the IRS and the state of Georgia in unpaid taxes, penalties, and fees spanning years. In a desperate bid for extra cash, Kim has resorted to selling her iconic wigs online for more than $2,000. She’s also selling her designer handbags.
News of the couple’s financial woes was quickly followed up by the shocking announcement that the pair was filing for divorce after 11 years of marriage. They have since remained at odds. Both parties filed divorce papers within hours of each other, and they are both demanding spousal support and primary custody of their minor children.
The divorce has become increasingly nasty as Kim has accused Kroy of having a marijuana problem and asked the courts to drug test the former NFL player. In response, Kroy claims that Kim has a gambling addiction that has left their family’s finances in shambles, and he wants her to undergo a psych evaluation.
Amid the reports that Kim is desperate to reclaim her reality television fame, Kroy recently threw some not-so-subtle shade at his estranged wife on social media.
Kroy took to his Instagram Stories to share an image of a buxom blonde, seemingly referencing Kim, in front of a television camera. He captioned it, “Don’t be so obvious.”
Unsurprisingly, sources close to Kim are denying the rumors that she is hitting up Bravo for employment, stating that the stories are simply “not true,” per Page Six.
Kim memorably starred as an OG RHOA Housewife for five seasons until she left in 2012 and scored her own spinoff, Don’t Be Tardy, with Kroy. That show ran for eight seasons before being canceled in 2020.
