Roy Keane has piled the pressure onto England at Wembley, insisting nobody in the Denmark XI could break into Gareth Southgate‘s line-up.

A spot in the Euro 2020 final awaits the winner at full-time, with the Three Lions favourites to setup a clash with Italy back in the capital on Sunday.

Denmark have fired 10 goals in their last three games at the tournament and breakout stars like Joakim Maehle have been dangerous all summer but Keane believes, on paper, England are far superior.

‘I think they’re excellent obviously when you go this far you’re a very good team they’re very well organised, coached and will be well prepared,’ the hard-man Irishman said on ITV punditry duty.

‘They’re excellent, no superstars, but a proper team. They got a difficult start to the tournament but they’ve recovered well and it will be a tough night for England.

‘I don’t know how many of this team get in the England team, I wouldn’t have any. So it’s going to be a tough ask.’

Andreas Christensen and Kasper Schmeichel may have something to say about Keane’s view, but England’s star-packed squad is giving fans confidence.

A 4-0 win last time out against Ukraine has raised hopes of ‘football coming home’, with the Three Lions into back-to-back semi-finals.

The Three Lions’ stunning defensive record – keeping a clean-sheet in every game so far – will face another tough test though, with Kasper Dolberg starting up-front after three goals in his last two games.
