Marie Osmond stays fit for her family.

She told DailyMail.com exclusively that she is trim so she can keep up with her grandchildren.

‘If I’m at the end of the life I want to spend time with my family,’ said the singer, who also stays active with power walks.

‘One reason I stay in good shape is because I wanna go bike riding with my grandkids I wanna be the fun grandma and you can’t do that if you don’t feel great,’ added the Paper Roses crooner.

‘Those are my priorities for me I want my grandkids to know me the real me not the Marie Osmond they see on TV but I want them to know who I am and that’s a real time commitment.’

‘It’s so funny this Christmas my eight year old grandson asked me if I was kind of famous and I said no not me because I don’t want them to see me as a famous person and I want them to see me as me,’ she shared.

‘At this stage of my life I’m blessed to have six decades in this career God has been good to me.’

She also talked her Bucket List.

‘My bucket list started when my album titled Unexpected debuted at number one on billboard, which was really – how funny is this? – unexpected for me because I thought I’m old what happened how could this happen?’ she noted.

‘I was like – hold on a second! I’m still doing so well but really what have I been doing for fun?’ she remarked.

‘It really was a mental shift for me and I started to think about things I really wanted to do like traveling.’

And she has really enjoyed seeing new countries.

‘I always wanted to go to Israel so I went with my son and we clown climbed Mount Sinai and watch the sun rise together,’ said the TV star.

‘I jumped out of a plane with my daughters because I had a fear of heights and I wanted to tackle it I also went to Iceland and Greenland with my husband so I was wanting to go.’

‘And I did an episode of Bold and the Beautiful because the producer said, “Hey you’re in LA why don’t we just do it?”

‘And it was so much fun; I played such a bratty character and it was thrilling even though I had to work from five in the morning until midnight.’

She told DailyMail.com exclusively where her next destination is.

‘Next I’m going to Brazil because I want to see the falls where the movie The Mission was filmed – that movie with Robert De Niro – I love water and I just wanna be there and sit with my own eyes,’ Marie said.

‘And my next passion is blowing glass it’s so interesting to me I am gonna go to Sweden and blow glass and learn how to do that there’s just things I wanna do.’

She is also still an ambassador with NutriSystem after almost 20 years.

Last year she helped introduce a program for people over 50 which takes into account key health factors.

Fifty is a special number to Marie as she lost 50lbs with the program, and it has been 50 years since her music career began.

‘Nutrisystem helped me lose 50 pounds and it changed my life for the better,’ Osmond told DailyMail.com.

‘Maintaining my weight loss has allowed me to feel my best and have more energy than ever before. I am thriving!’

‘I have energy to keep up with my busy touring schedule and most of all, energy to play with my active grandbabies. Nutrisystem Complete 50 won’t just help you lose weight; it can help you live a more active life.’

She says she stayed with the brand because she believes they are a solid product.

‘I really believe in Nutrisystem 1000% I have been asked to do many different endorsements and I’ve turned a lot down because I really have to believe in the product with Nutrisystem I feel like I have helped millions of people get healthy this is the real deal.

‘It really works and that makes me happy I can help others,’ she said.

Osmond also talked turning 50.

‘When I hit middle-age and my body changed I got that weight on my stomach and this program addressed that issue.

‘It’s called visceral fat and it’s a killer among women,’ the sister of Donny Osmond noted.

‘I love Nutrisystem because you get to eat all the time you don’t starve yourself which means your body doesn’t store fat.

‘When you’re in the program you pick what you want there’s so much to choose from.

‘My weight still goes up and down but I keep it in check – like I never let myself get 5 pounds overweight. During Christmas I went 3 pounds over my weight limit and after Christmas it came off I just worked on it.

‘I do keep my weight in check,’ she also said.

‘Snacking is a big problem because women’s blood sugar drops and they reach for fun foods. I do snack but I don’t crave junk food because I eat well overall.’

Instead of chips, she reaches for veggies.

‘If I get hungry I’ll have tomatoes, cheese, yogurt, red peppers, cucumbers – and I love hummus; that is a big thing for me so I don’t ever feel deprived.’

And she has some sweets once in a while.

‘And yes I do eat desserts – the other night I split a cheesecake with my friend at Juniors Deli in New York City,’ Marie told DailyMail.com.

‘The thing with me is my body knows I’m not going to starve it so it doesn’t store food it doesn’t hoard it; it knows it will get food when it needs it.’

And she stays active too.

‘As for exercise I walk like three or four times a week. I really can’t walk every day because I’m just too busy; I have my career and my grandkids,’ she relayed.

‘I’m a big advocate for a walking – though I just do it when I can – and I love audiobooks; I listen to them when I walk because I’m a multitasker. I love to exercise and learn at the same time.;

‘Most women are active, especially if you’re raising children.

‘I think the main thing to look at is really diet and at Nutrisystem the food really keeps your weight down.’
