Kate Beckinsale said she is ‘freeing the nipple the Chiswick way’ as she shared an amusing post to Instagram on Wednesday.

The Much Ado About Nothing star, 50, posed in a very risqué jumper, which seemed to be embellished with multiple embroidered nipples.

Kate even cheekily pinched one of the nipples as she flashed a hint of her toned stomach underneath the white jumper.

The iconic actress joked she is ‘freeing the nipple the Chiswick way’ with ‘well-made knit wear’, adding a suggestive cherry emoji to her Instagram caption.

Kate was born in Chiswick, a leafy London borough filled with upmarket cafes and shops – which even hosts a monthly cheese market.

She donned the quality jumper for the funny post – which she now appears to have deleted – opting for a more modest way of ‘freeing the nipple’.

Her mother Judy Loe still lives in Chiswick, and Kate – who is herself based in America – often shares her appreciation of the area on her Instagram feed.

As she struck a variety of poses for the camera, Kate showed off her stunning new blonde locks, which she styled in a classy bob.

Kate debuted her striking hairdo earlier this month as she switched up her famous brunette look.

After attending The Hollywood Reporter’s Women In Entertainment Breakfast Gala, she took to Instagram to show off her new hair.

Despite being praised by many users for her looks, Kate was also forced to hit back at one troll who criticised her new blonde appearance, leading her to hit back with a savage comment of her own.

One troll wrote: ‘You with a Bob = Yes; you with blonde = NO.’

Kate savagely responded: ‘@alexlmiller22 you having the feeling you get a vote : NO.’

Also sharing their dismiss over the blonde beauty’s new look, one user wrote: ‘No to blonde’ with a crying emoji.

The actress replied: ‘@megalien8 yes to women having agency over their own appearance without commands from men they don’t even know. Or men at all.’

Kate has been having a very difficult time as of late and has quietly been caring for her beloved mother and stepfather as they battle a slew of serious health issues.

Insiders have claimed those close to her have expressed concern for her own wellbeing amid the ‘relentless strain.’

The British actress was seen comforting her stepfather Roy Battersby earlier this month – who was diagnosed with two types of cancer this summer – as the 87-year-old was transported on a stretcher outside a Los Angeles hospital on Wednesday.

An insider revealed that he was hospitalized in recent weeks due to a ‘massive stroke.’

The latest health scare comes amidst her mother Judy Loe’s own private battle. The 76-year-old was diagnosed with a longstanding illness six years ago – something Kate has alluded to in several emotional Instagram posts over the past year.

Kate flew her parents out to the US from their home in the UK so she could care for them full-time at her Los Angeles home.

‘Kate has been caring for her parents, who both have serious illnesses, for most of the year’, a source exclusively revealed to DailyMail.com. ‘She brought them to her home in LA and has made looking after them her number one priority.’

The insider revealed that the Snow Angels star – whose biological father Richard Beckinsale died, aged 31, from a heart attack in his sleep in 1979 – has been feeling the emotional toll in recent months.

‘She was spotted this week several times crying in the corridors of UCLA hospital,’ the source added. ‘Her friends are very concerned that she has been under relentless strain for months and hardly sleeping or eating.

‘Kate appears to be very strong but this has been incredibly hard and, given that she lost her father so young, is affecting her very deeply. Her friends are concerned for her own health.’

A second source explained that her mother Judy has chosen to keep her health battle private, stating: ‘She’s extraordinary, you wouldn’t even know by looking at her. She has been keeping a very positive attitude throughout everything.’

Kate’s biological father was the late British actor Richard Beckinsale, best known for his roles as Lennie Godber in the BBC sitcom Porridge, and Alan Moore in the ITV sitcom Rising Damp.

He also had daughter Samantha, 55 – his only child from his marriage to Margaret Bradley.

Kate’s mother, who is also an actress, married Roy in 1997 – 18 years after Kate’s father died.

Over the years, Kate’s close bond with her stepfather has been a source of delight for social media fans, who often share messages of praise for the family’s visible love for each other.

Kate has also been dealing with the grief over her beloved cat Clive, who died in June aged 19.
