Sara Bareilles was a winner at the 2023 Grammy Awards!
The “Love Song” singer picked up the award for Best Musical Theater Album for being a principal soloist on the Into the Woods album from the 2022 Broadway Cast Recording.
Into the Woods beat out the cast recordings for Caroline, or Change, MJ The Musical, Mr. Saturday Night, Six, and A Strange Loop.
Sharing the award with Sara are cast members Brian D’Arcy James, Patina Miller, and Phillipa Soo. Only four cast members are eligible in this category, so the four stars with the biggest roles on the album are the ones who receive the award.
Sara previously won a Grammy in 2020 for Best American Roots Performance for her song “Saint Honesty.”
