Sharon Osbourne has had a successful career in the television industry and came to public prominence after appearing on The Osbournes in 2002. It was announced earlier this week that the star would be leaving The Talk, an American talk show that debuted in 2010. How much has Sharon earned?

Thanks to her successful career and multiple streams of income, the 68-year-old is worth a fortune.

According to Celebrity Net Worth, the star is worth an eye-watering $220 million (£159 million).

Sharon was born into a wealthy family and was the daughter of Don Arden, a music promoter and a pioneer in the British rock and roll scene.

When she was just 27-years-old, Sharon became Ozzy Osbourne’s music manager after he was fired by her father who was managing Black Sabbath at the time.

Shortly after the launch of The Osbournes, Sharon started hosting her own show, The Sharon Osbourne Show, and her deal with ITV at the time was worth £2million.

The television favourite also sat as a judge on The X Factor UK for a total of eight years and has most recently worked as a panellist on the US chat show, The Talk.

However, it was announced earlier this week that Sharon would no longer be appearing on the show after being the only original co-host remaining.

The news was confirmed by CBS who announced that her behaviour “did not align with our values for a respectful workplace”, after Sharon defended Piers Morgan’s comments on Meghan Markle.

Sharon defended her Britain’s Got Talent friend and former co-presenter on the March 10 show of The Talk and was accused of validating racism.

While her salary was never disclosed, it is thought to have been around £450,000 per season of the show.

Additional ventures from Sharon include Ozzfest, which was created in 1996.

By 2007, the ticket prices had reached £100, equating to a gross of more than £15million a year from that point on.

The star lives in her Los Angeles mansion with husband Ozzy and their many dogs.

Their Hancock Park home is thought to have been purchased for a whopping $12 million (£8.7million).

Sharon and Ozzy also have many other properties around the world.

The couple met when Sharon was just 18-years-old and in 1982, they tied the knot and now have three children together.
