To prepare for a potential ‘Battle of the Billionaires’, Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg has apparently built an octagon in his backyard – much to the chagrin of his wife.

Zuckerberg has floated the idea for a mixed martial arts bout against Twitter and Tesla CEO Elon Musk.

But he’s taken it an extra step by constructing this octagon – something wife, Priscilla Chan, has expressed her anger about.

In an Instagram post, Zuckerberg showed a WhatsApp message exchange between the pair – with Zuck saying that the constructed ring ‘looks awesome’.

Chan disagrees, responding by saying, ‘I have been working on that grass for two years.’

Underneath that screenshot, Zuckerberg posted a poll with the question: ‘What’s the Play?’ with the options ‘Keep the octagon’ or ‘Save the grass’.

At the time of posting, it appears the octagon has taken a commanding lead as people anticipate the possibility of a fight.

Zuckerberg recently trained with UFC Featherweight Champion Alex Volkanovski, and the Aussie has been impressed with the Meta founder’s ability.

‘I guarantee you, you guys would be very surprised,’ he told TMZ.

‘I’m telling you he’s serious. I don’t know how serious Elon is, but I’m telling you, he’s training!’

UFC president Dana White, who expects to promote a Musk-Zuckerberg bout, said he would charge as much as $100 as opposed to the standard $80 UFC PPV price.

‘These guys would raise, you know, hundreds of millions of dollars for charity and, you know, you don’t have to be a big fight fan to be interested in this fight. Everybody would want to see it.’
