Teddi Mellencamp shared an update on her battle with skin cancer on her Instagram account on Wednesday.

The 42-year-old reality television personality posted a photo of her back surgery scars – after having several melanomas removed in 2022 – and revealed she was undergoing an increased dose of immunotherapy.

The former Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills castmate, who last month shared an update on her treatment, wrote: ‘Now that the noise has died down and I can focus on the important things like my family and my health, I wanted to give a little update since so many of you have been asking.’

The reality television personality then revealed that her ‘initial prescription of immunotherapy wasn’t working, so my doctor upped the dosage.

‘And now we are seeing some movement. So in two weeks I will have a doctor’s visit and we will see how effective it has been.’

Mellencamp concluded her statement by expressing gratitude for the continued support of her fans.

‘Thank you for all of your prayers and messages. Couldn’t do it without y’all,’ she wrote.

The social media figure also shared a photo of her back on her Instagram Story on Tuesday evening and encouraged her followers to ‘book your skin checks.’

She then added: ‘This immunotherapy cream is hopefully working because this is not the most fun of times.’

Mellencamp also wrote about the method she used to maintain a positive state of mind during her treatments.

She wrote: ‘When I start to feel sad I like to focus on my next goal to help me keep my mind off of it.’

The reality television personality announced she had skin cancer in March of last year, when she revealed that she had a mole removed from her back in an Instagram post.

Mellencamp also wrote that her former castmate, Kyle Richards, had noticed the mole change color over time.

While the two were working out together in March 2022, Kyle stopped to point out some of the spots she had noticed on Teddi’s back.

‘She looked at my back and said, “Listen, I know that I’ve talked to you about these spots before, but they look different — one of them has a black dot in the middle”,’ Mellencamp told People.

It was a lucky catch, as she had to have 12 melanomas removed after the discovery.

The star announced that medical professionals had removed 11 melanomas and three lymph nodes in a post that was shared this past December.

However, she revealed that another biopsied spot had been identified as melanoma this past September, and she subsequently expressed that she would be utilizing an immunotherapy cream during her course of treatment.
