The NBA has provided a fist look into the LED glass court set to be used for the All-Star Weekend in Indiana.

On Thursday, Joe Pompliano shared a clip of the court at Lucas Oil Stadium. The court showed an animation of the NBA All-Star logo before switching to the word ‘Welcome’ flashed in different sizes across the screen.

The court will be used for All-Star Friday and Saturday events at the home of the Indianapolis Colts. On Sunday, the weekend will culminate with the All-Star Game at Gainbridge Fieldhouse.

‘The future is going to be wild,’ Pompliano wrote.

The LED will allow replays and stats to be displayed on the court. It will also serve as a display screen for the event sponsors.

Other visual effects that will be shown on the 94-foot screen include location-based player tracking animations, interactive games for fans during timeouts, and immersive animations following players during key moments.

The court’s features will be on display during the Ruffles NBA Celebrity All-Star Game on Friday. The following evening, it will be the setting for the State Farm Saturday events including the Skills, Three-Point and Dunk Contests.

Additionally, the NBA added a three-point competition between Golden State Warriors point guard Steph Curry and New York Liberty star Sabrina Ionescu for Saturday night.

While the NBA is using this weekend’s festivities as a trying ground for changes in competition and technology, they are also reverting to some older traditions. After years of following a draft-system for the All-Star Game, the league is returning to the old East vs. West format for Sunday night.

The All-Star Weekend events will air on TNT, TBS and Max in the United States. They will also be available on NBA TV across 200 countries worldwide.
