Aniah Blanchard Murder Update: Where Is Ibraheem Yazeed Now? Aniah Blanchard was shot to death in October 2019. She went missing on October 24. Her body was discovered in Macon County, Alabama, one month after she went missing.
The 29-year-old girl was the daughter of registered nurse Angela Haley-Harris and businessman Elijah Blanchard. She was also the stepdaughter of Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) fighter Walt Harris. She passed away after being wounded by a gunshot. The young girl was a Homewood, Alabama, resident and a student at Homewood High School student.
Aniah Blanchard Murder Update: 19-Year-Old Shot To Death
In the murder case of a 19-year-old girl, Aniah Blanchard, police arrested Ibraheem Yazeed. He was apprehended and prosecuted in Lee County Jail without bond as of January 2021.
The teenage girl went missing on October 24, 2019, according to the Auburn Police Department. She was seen on surveillance video in the late hours of October 23 at a Chevron gas station. Though Blanchard’s phone was not retrieved, authorities could track its whereabouts using records. The phone departed a Murphy Oil gas station and headed towards a neighborhood on Longleaf Drive and Cox Road in Auburn.
By October 30, a task group comprised of multiple law enforcement agencies, including the FBI, DHS, and the Alabama Department of Forensic Sciences, had been created. Officials discovered the damaged car on October 25.
On November 6, the Auburn Police Department published a picture of a culprit from a surveillance camera named Ibraheem Yazeed. According to the surveillance video, he was in the store at the same time as Blanchard. A witness claimed to have seen Blanchard and Yazeed chatting outside the store near her car, in addition to the security film. The witness claimed he forced her into the automobile against her will and then drove away with her in the car.
The murderer of the girl was arrested on charges of first-degree abduction on November 7. He was arrested and brought to the Escambia County Jail, where he consented to be deported to Alabama. Since then, he has been jailed without bond at the Lee County Jail.

Ibraheem Yazeed is facing the charge of brutally murdering Aniah Blanchard. Furthermore, he is now facing charges in two Montgomery incidents.
Montgomery County District Attorney Daryl Bailey announced on Thursday that the accusations were revealed by the Montgomery County District Attorney’s Cold Case Unit.
The 30-year-old culprit has a criminal record. Before Blanchard’s death, he was released on $295,000 bail when he was accused of marijuana possession, robbery, abduction, and attempted murder. The allegations stem from an alleged crime in January 2019 in which four individuals robbed and battered two men in a Montgomery hotel. In addition, the defendant is suspected of attempting to kill two police officers in 2012 by slamming his car into theirs. He was detained in 2017 for aggravated violence against a police officer.
