Brandi Glanville discussed Vicki Gunvalson’s past lawsuit against Bravo, addressed the current “teams” on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, and revealed if she’d rather work with Lisa Vanderpump or Denise Richards.
The alum also indicated that Kyle Richards is getting “more hate” than “ever,” and she called Dorit Kemsley’s husband PK a “mangina.”
In an interview with the Behind The Velvet Rope With David Yontef podcast – which took place before the controversial filming of Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip season four – Brandi addressed Bravo’s decision not to re-hire Vicki when Tamra Judge returned.
“Tamra never really got to get out of Vicki’s shadow. She always had to deal with Vicki and taking care of her. So I think it’s time for the audience to get to see Tamra on her own … and see what she does without Vicki. I think that Vicki kind of felt like her and Tamra were a package deal,” said Brandi.
“But you know, Vicki did a lawsuit against Bravo before,” revealed the 50-year-old. “Vicki’s pulled some s**t and Tamra hasn’t … When you sue Bravo, they’re not super excited about you ever again. And I think Vicki’s story’s been told … I want her to go on and find love and be happy without a camera in her face.”
When asked why Vicki sued Bravo, Brandi said cryptically, “Do you remember there was like some anonymous lawsuit and they had her on, they brought her out into the reunion late, like as a ‘friend of’ as some sort of punishment or something, but she tried to do it under an anonymous name … I always say this: You don’t s**t where you eat.”
Regarding RHOBH‘s current cast, the star expressed, “It does seem like [there are] two teams … It seems like Sutton [Stracke] and Garcelle [Beauvais] … are going to ride hard for each other … And then Kyle’s kind of in the middle, making sure that there’s a story. And she’s getting a lot of f**king hate for it, but she’s doing her job.”
“She’s gotten so much hate,” Brandi insisted. “I know what she’s doing because I watch it with a different perspective. She’s getting the conversation started and then she’s letting them do what they have to do. So I say, thank God for Kyle.”
Brandi claimed Kyle told her, “‘I can’t look at social media. It’s, it really breaks my heart. I like, I’m getting more hate than I’ve ever got.’”
Brandi speculated that if someone on the current cast must leave, she thinks it’s “Dorit … and Diana [Jenkins],” but said she loves “seeing PK be like a mangina. Like he’s so wrong. He’s so ridiculous … [and] I still wonder … how he got Dorit.”
She believes viewers are fond of Sutton because she’ll say whatever, even though Sutton is “slightly delusional and very much drinking [her] own Kool-Aid. It’s cause she just doubles down on everything. Yeah. I’m not a fan … I knew her before the show and she always wanted to be on the show. And so she would invite like me and Rinna to everything … but also like the second she got on the show — our mutual friend — she quit them and it was just very bizarre. Like she had a plan and she put it into action. There’s a little evilness that’s there.”
Discussing her previous season on RHUGT, Brandi claimed Andy Cohen called her before filming.
“He’s like, ‘I want to see you be Big Brother Brandi. I want you to go in there and show them … you’re not this crazy drunk person.’ I’m like, well, that didn’t go, it lasted about three hours,” she explained.
When asked to choose between working with Vanderpump or working with Denise, Brandi answered: “Denise in a heartbeat. Cause we have unresolved issues and unfinished business.”
Brandi then referenced her previous accusation that she and the Wild Things actress had sexual relations. “I have not talked to [Denise] since I said that on camera,” said Brandi. “We’ve texted very meanly … I feel like, who f**king cares if you hook up with a girl? Like, hello, that’s a Tuesday night for me.”
