If you’re someone who can’t get enough pumpkin spice and are on the hunt for a side hustle—look no further. One company wants to stuff you full of fall flavors from Trader Joe’s and then pay you money for your option about it. But it seems too good to be true, doesn’t it?

FinanceBuzz wants to make it happen for one very lucky Peter pumpkin-eater. The tester will need to eat all the items on the company’s Trader Joe’s grocery list and rate them before being paid $1,500 for their service, including a $500 TJ’s gift card. Grocery products will include the store’s seasonal pumpkin-stuffed ravioli, apple cider donuts, cinnamon rolls, and pumpkin waffles.

Afterward, FinanceBuzz uses your opinion on the delicious fall foods at Trader Joe’s to fuel their market research and help future shoppers decide what to get. Seems easy, right?

There are some caveats—the taste-tester will need to live by a Trader Joe’s store and do their own shopping. While you’ll be able to use the $500 store gift card provided to purchase the items, you’ll have to take photographs of the products once you’ve acquired them. You’ll also need to write a small description and rate the food based on FinanceBuzz’s criteria.

If “Pumpkin Palooza 2022” sounds like a good fit for you, you’ll need to fill out an application by August 28. Only one candidate will be selected and contacted via email, which will be announced on September 2. The Pumpkin Spice Pundit application can be found here.
