AFLW star Moana Hope shares heartwarming post praising her children following split

AFLW star Moana Hope has shared a heartwarming post following her split with Isabella Carlstrom.

On Tuesday, Moana, 35, shared some adorable snaps to Instagram of daughter Svea, two, and her eleven-month-old son Ahi posing up a storm in a photo shoot.

The youngsters could not wipe the smiles off their faces as they laughed it up at their mother’s off-camera antics.

The Melbourne native, who has New Zealand heritage, captioned the pictures with some heartfelt words and a precious Maori phrase.

‘My BABIES. Ka nui taku aroha ki a koe (I love you so much),’ she wrote next to the snaps.

It didn’t take long for many of Moana’s fans to compliment the gorgeous photos.

‘Omg toooo cute,’ one fan gushed and another added: ‘Their smiles are the best’. 

Last month Moana all but confirmed her split from her stunning wife Isabella Carlstrom when she removed any reference to her in her Instagram bio.

And Isabella later made an announcement on her own Instagram page, saying they were following in the footsteps of Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin by ‘consciously uncoupling’. 

The term refers to an ‘amicable split’ and was made popular by the Hollywood star and Coldplay frontman back in 2014 when they announced their shock breakup. 

‘It’s with a heavy heart that Mo and I have decided to separate. We will continue to raise out beautiful kids together as we consciously uncouple. We appreciate all the love and support over the years, thank you,’ she wrote in her statement.

Meanwhile Moana has thrown herself into a very good cause following the split. 

The mother of two is an ambassador for Cocobella and took part in the Mother’s Day Classic Fun Run the at the Alexandra Gardens earlier this month, in honour of her mother-in-law who is a survivor of breast cancer.

‘My mother-in-law, Belle’s mum, she is a survivor of breast cancer and somebody I admire and love very much, so to know I have someone close to me that has been affected, that I can potentially run for, means more than you can possibly imagine,’ Hope told the Herald Sun.

Moana and Isabella went through IVF to conceive their two children using the same donor.
