McDonald’s Australia: How to get free coffee today: Download MyMacca’s app

McDonald’s Australia will today give away thousands of complimentary coffees to celebrate McCafé’s 30th anniversary.

The fast food giant will be handing out free medium hot coffees to customers who use the MyMacca’s app.

All you need to do is download the mobile app and select ‘free coffee’ under ‘My Deals’ to redeem the gift.

A McCafé van will also be travelling around Sydney this week handing out free coffees. The van will then head up to Brisbane on June 4, followed by Townsville on June 6.

Lancy Huynh, Group Brand Manager for McDonald’s Australia said: ‘Coffee is on us! We are shouting free coffee to customers across Australia to thank them for their loyalty and support over the past 30 years.

‘We hope our customers enjoy their morning coffee or afternoon pick-me-up on us.’

Every year McDonald’s serves up more than 230 million cups of barista-made coffee and hot drinks in a year, with one in every four coffees sold in Australia from a McCafé. 

Currently there’s 1,026 McCafé’s across Australia and more than 4,000 in 60 countries across the word.

The McCafé coffee blend is roasted in Melbourne and sourced from Rainforest Alliance Certified farms in Brazil, Honduras, Kenya and Ethiopia.
