What Happened To Nick Cannon Son? Nick Cannon is mourning an unimaginable loss. The 41-year-old TV personality announced Tuesday on The Nick Cannon Show that his youngest son, 5-month-old Zen, died of brain cancer and a subsequent tumor.
Cannon and Alyssa Scott welcomed Zen back in June, making him Cannon’s seventh child.
“Over the weekend I lost my youngest son to a condition called hydrocephalus that is pretty much a malignant, midline brain tumor — brain cancer,” he said on his show. According to the Mayo Clinic, Hydrocephalus “is the buildup of fluid in the cavities (ventricles) deep within the brain. The excess fluid increases the size of the ventricles and puts pressure on the brain.”
“I always noticed he had a cough and so I wanted to check it out,” he said. “He had this interesting breathing and by the time he was two months I noticed he had this nice sized head too — a Cannon head. We didn’t think anything of it. But I wanted to take him to the doctor for his sinus and breathing. We thought it would be routine.”

Nick and his partner Alyssa Scott welcomed his seventh and youngest son in 2021. The little baby Zen struggled with a critical health disease during his passing away.
Cannon mentioned that his son, Zen had brain cancer, Hydrocephalus. He had noticed the worsening condition of the young one and took him for a check-up only to find out he had a malignant brain tumor.
The young Zen has even undergone surgery, hoping for his condition to improve. However, it started getting worst on Thanksgiving, and the couple ended up losing their young baby.

At 41 years of age, Nick became a father again of his youngest deceased child. He was born and raised in San Diego, California.
He has lived most of his teenage years affiliated with street gangs. Later on, he completed his study at Monte Viste High School.
Nick started his career in singing at 22. And since then, he has been unstoppably shining in the entertainment industry.
Cannon was happy to experience fatherhood again in his early 40s, but losing his child soon after five months of birth has devasted him and his partner.
