A 50-year-old woman has shared her unique secret to looking and feeling younger.

While getting older is a natural part of life, many women are keen to turn back time – and there are plenty of ways to do it.

Many rely on the help of skincare and beauty regimes to get a more youthful appearance.

However, one woman believes that changing your energy can make all the difference.

Relationship and dating coach Claire Dore told GB News that staying young is all about positive energy.

She said: “It’s all to do with energy. I am 50 and feel and look younger than ever.

“I went through an awakening at 47 and left my 21-year-long relationship. I let go of so much emotional baggage and this has had a huge impact on my energy.”

Not only does Claire feel better, but she also looks younger. She revealed: “My son said to me recently, ‘Mum are you ageing backwards?’.”

The mum suggested that women can become more youthful by getting rid of negative energy.

She said: “For me it’s all to do with releasing the emotional baggage we are unconsciously holding allowing yourself to embody all of who you are and making sure you do the things you love – make the things that make you feel good a priority.”

Changing your energy is something you can work on alone or with a coach.

Claire shared: “I invested in my own personal development and was working with a coach one to one.

“My tip to anyone looking to start on this journey is to express your thoughts and feelings, whether you choose to work with a coach like me or simply invest in a journal and take space daily to write this out.

“When we express our emotions, thoughts and feelings we get to create space in our bodies – it frees us.”

There’s a belief that using positive energy can help slow down ageing.

A study found in the National Library of Medicine says, “stress can biologically age you, but the effect isn’t permanent”.

The study explained: “We become biologically older when our bodies are under stress, but younger again when we recover, according to a study that analysed people’s DNA when they had emergency hip surgery, had severe Covid or were pregnant.”
