Considering we all left “hard pants” back in 2019, it’s safe to say that a pair of basic, durable, comfortable, wear anywhere and everywhere leggings are on everyone’s wish list this holiday season. And considering no one does classic activewear better than Lululemon, the brand’s epic Black Friday sale is your chance to give your loved ones exactly what they want without having to break the bank for the sake of the cause.

While Lululemon is notoriously secretive about its sales—when they are, what’s going to be on promotion, how big of a deal are we going to score—we’ve done some digging for the deets and are here to spill the tea.

For those new to Lululemon shopping, the “sale” deals live in the “We Made Too Much” section of the brand’s site, and the early Black Friday discounted pieces are already there and waiting for you to whisk them away. The section boasts the celeb, influencer, and everyone else-fave Align Pants, the matching tank top and corresponding bike shorts, sweatpants, running shorts, and sweatshirts galore. So if you’re fingers are itching to stop, drop, and roll (erm…shop, shop, and scroll), these deals are perfect for the early birds.

If you want to wait to see what the holiday weekend has in store, what we do know is that last year, the sale began a few days prior to Thanksgiving, lasted through the weekend, and even introduced new deals on Cyber Monday. A lot of their bestsellers were even up to 50 percent off, so prepare your wallets and make some closet space, because this is going to be big.

What our editors are shopping at the Lululemon Black Friday sale

Wunder Under High-Rise Tight 28″ Full-On Luxtreme — $98.00

Francesca Krempa, Well+Good’s commerce writer, has these leggings at the top of her list. “I write about this a lot, but I live in a very cold place and am a perpetually cold person. Therefore I can never have enough base layers and these tights do just the trick,” she says. “I love that these are high-rise and are thick enough that I can wear them on my own or layer them underneath my jeans/pants when the temps drop.”

Free to Be Bra — $48.00

“This bra is somehow ultra supportive yet feels like I’m wearing nothing at all,” says Zoë Weiner, senior beauty editor. “The multi-strap design holds my boobs in place during every activity (yes, even during burpees), and it’s so comfortable I often wear it in lieu of a regular bra under actual clothes (… don’t worry, I wash it first).”

Define Jacket Luon — $118.00

Kara Jillian Brown, Well+Good’s beauty writer, wears the Define Jacket for all of her winter activities. “I’ve had the Define Jacket since 2015 and it remains my favorite item to thrown on when I’m headed to a workout,” she says. “It’s thin, making it great to layer under a vest or leather jacket when it’s cold. The thumb holes are also great for keeping your hands a bit warmer.”

Side-Cinch Shopper Bag — $58.00

“For the longest time, I’ve been on the hunt for a medium-sized gym bag that’s stylish enough to turn into an everyday tote bag, and this fits the bill PERFECTLY,” raves Taylor Bell, a commerce writer with Well+Good. “It’s also water repellent, which is major plus for keeping odor and moisture under control for my HIIT workout days.”

Perfectly Oversized Crew — $108.00

According to Well+Good’s senior commerce editor, Gina Vaynshteyn, “The Perfectly Oversized Crew belongs in my close, because I know I can wear it with anything. My leggings. My jeans. Over a dress if I feel like being capital “F” Fashionable. It’s so soft and drape-y, and I will likely never take it off.”
