Kell Brook has conceded that a defeat against bitter rival Amir Khan in their upcoming grudge match would scar him for life.

He said: ‘It’s unthinkable for me. It’s been talked about that much, I’d have to walk with my head down for the rest of my life.

‘He (Khan) knows this as well – there’s a lot of pressure on this fight because of how long it’s been going on, the build-up… this is the best in Britain, this is Khan vs Brook, this is the one. This is bragging rights to the maximum.’

Khan replied: ‘Defeat? I haven’t thought about it and I don’t want to think about it. I can’t lose the fight.
