Afghanistan will lock horns with Pakistan in the 3rd and final T20I at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium on Monday, the 27th of March. Afghanistan started the series with a bang, winning the 1st match by 6 wickets, this was the first time that Afghanistan defeated Pakistan in International cricket. Pakistan have decided to rest some of their senior players and this has backfired on them big time. They went in with 4 youngsters in the 1st match and Ihsanullah was the only one who managed to impress, the rest were below par and would like to turn things around in this encounter. Abdullah Shafiq has got 4 ducks in a row and he will definitely be replaced in tomorrow’s fixture.
The surface at Sharjah has been deceptive, the run-scoring has been really hard and expect something similar in this game as well. Pakistan will come out all guns blazing in trying to end the series on a high. Mohammad Rizwan and Barar Azam’s experience has been dearly missing by the Pakistan unit. The Afghan unit has been fantastic with the ball, Saim Aiyub has had a forgettable series so far, he was dismissed on a duck in the 2nd match and will be interesting to see if he gets a go in the final match of the series.

Pitch
The Pitch at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium has been a belter over the years but there have been occasions when the ball has kept low and some uneven bounce has also been seen, the batters in most cases enjoy playing at this venue. The spinners will play a vital role in this series where the pitches have been slightly slow. The captain who wins the toss will look to chase the total down in the second innings as some dew is expected in the latter half of the match.
