Between September 16 and 24, 2023, the FIVB is set to host the Women’s Volleyball Olympic Qualifiers for Paris 2024 in three separate venues: Ningbo, Tokyo, and Lodz. These cities will witness fierce competition among the 24 world-class women’s volleyball teams. Each pool will have eight teams, who will each battle against seven other teams within the pool. The two best-performing nations from each pool will gain entry to the Paris Olympics in 2024.
On September 17, 2023, China is all set to face Mexico in a Pool A match at the Paris Olympics Volleyball Qualifier 2023 Women. China made it to this phase as the fifth world ranked non-qualified team. In the last edition, they qualified directly to the Tokyo Olympics 2020 in 2021 after placing in the top two in their respective pool of the competition. Meanwhile, Mexico qualified as the 20th world ranked non-qualified nation.
