President Joe Biden’s 2024 physical remained largely unchanged from last year, with his White House doctor saying there are ‘no new concerns’ and labeling the 81-year-old ‘fit to serve.’

The White House released the results of Biden’s physical late Wednesday afternoon, after he took Marine One to Bethesda to get the annual exam done at Walter Reed.

The report, penned by Physician to the President, Dr. Kevin O’Connor, said that Biden’s skin cancer from last year had not spread, gave details on his use of a CPAP machine to treat sleep apnea and noted that Biden was fitted with a new prescription for contacts.

Earlier, the White House had confirmed Biden did not take a cognitive test during the exam.

Using the same language as last year’s memo, O’Connor did say that Biden did sit for ‘an extremely detailed neurological exam’ that ruled out ‘stroke, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s or ascending lateral sclerosis.’

O’Connor called the addition of Biden’s CPAP machine – which became public knowledge in late June – the most ‘notable’ health development of the past year.

‘Most people do experience some difficulties getting used to falling asleep while wearing a mask on their face, as well as with keeping it on throughout the night,’ O’Connor said. ‘This is reasonably anticipated and, in fact, should be expected.’

‘The President had a very similar experience,’ the top White House doctor noted.

He wrote that after ‘several different masks,’ Biden was able to find one that worked.

‘He has been remarkably committed to sticking with therapy and uses PAP successfully almost every night, for most or all of the night,’ O’Connor added.

The new report also noted Biden’s root canal last summer, which O’Connor said he ‘tolerated’ well.

The president still suffers from a stiff gait, ‘but has not worsened since last year,’ which the doctor attributed to ‘wear and tear’ of his spine.

‘The President’s arthritic changes remain moderate to severe, but still do not result in nerve root compression significant enough that they would warrant any special treatment,’ O’Connor said.

The president is on a combination of prescribed and over-the-counter medications, including Eliquis for his Afib and Crestor to keep his lipid levels low.

He’s on a prescription nasal spray and takes Allegra for season allergies and uses Nexium over-the-counter.

‘The President has been happily married for 46 years. He does not use any tobacco products, does not drink alcohol, and he continues to work out at least five times a week,’ O’Connor said.

During Wednesday’s briefing, Press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre brushed aside concerns the 81-year-old is not fit for a second term and touted his record.

She dismissed the need for a cognitive test, despite the Department of Justice calling him an ‘elderly man with a poor memory’ in the special counsel report on his mishandling of classified documents.

‘His doctor, including the neurologist, do not believe that he needs one,’ Jean-Pierre said at Wednesday’s press briefing.

She responded: ‘Folks need to understand that the president passes a cognitive test every day!’

‘Given that there’s been so much scrutiny … why not just have his doctor administer the test?’ a reporter asked after Biden went to Walter Reed for his annual health check-up.

‘His doctor, including the neurologist, do not believe that he needs one,’ Jean-Pierre added.

A team of 20 doctors, including the White House physician, were present for the exam at Walter Reed.

‘That is their assessment,’ she added.

Jean-Pierre also pushed back when a reporter asked for Biden’s doctor, White House physician Dr. Kevin O’Connor, to address the press in the briefing room.

‘There is not a precedent for bringing the doctor to the briefing room. I understand it has happened a few times over the last 35 years, a couple of times, but it is actually not the precedent,’ she said.

During the tenure of former President Donald Trump, Dr. Ronny Jackson, now a U.S. representative for Texas, appeared in the briefing room where he applauded the Republican’s good genes.

He also said that Trump didn’t need a cognitive test, calling the leader ‘very sharp’ and ‘very intact.’

‘As it relates to the doctor coming to the briefing room, it is not a norm. We’re trying to get back to the norm of what it used to be where doctors don’t come to the briefing room,’ Jean-Pierre argued Wednesday.

She said that the memo, released later Wednesday afternoon, would be ‘robust’ and ‘comprehensive.’

Biden earlier joked that doctors ‘think I look too young’ while giving reporters an update on his annual physical.

Biden stayed at the Bethesda medical center for about two and a half hours, returned to the White House and then held an event about reducing crime in the United States with top law enforcement voices in the State Dining Room.

‘I’m alright, everything is squared away,’ he told reporters after delivering brief remarks. ‘No, there is nothing different than last year,’ he also revealed.

For months, polls have showed that a majority of Americans are doubtful that Biden can be effective through a second term, which would finish when he is 86 years of age.

During last year’s assessment by O’Connor, Biden remained ‘fit for duty.’
