Jude Bellingham has been suspended for the next two games by La Liga after being sent off at the end of Real Madrid’s weekend clash against Valencia.
The Englishman was shown a red card by referee Jesus Gil Manzano after fuming at the full-time whistle being blown just before he scored a header from a cross.
Bellingham swore in frustration and was subsequently dismissed, with LaLiga now suspending him for the club’s next two league clashes, as reported by Fabrizio Romano.
The circumstances surrounding the 20-year-old’s sending off were described as ‘wrong’ by Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti after the game where he explained his player had been respectful in his protests.
It was revealed that Bellingham had fumed ‘It’s a f***ing goal’ in relation to his late strike in the Spanish top-flight clash not counting.
