Twitter’s owner and CEO, Elon Musk, began purchasing shares in the company in January 2022. Since 2017, he has been considering purchasing Twitter.

In April, Musk offered $43 billion to acquire Twitter, and up to this point, he has been successful in his bids for about $44 billion.

Musk is the CEO and chief product architect of Tesla, Inc., president of the Musk Foundation, and the owner of numerous other well-known enterprises.

He co-founded Zip 2 with his brother to launch his business career; he owns 5% of the company. He has since been involved in other additional businesses as well.

Many viewers have been curious about his resignation after he launched a voting poll. Let’s get to know together.

Was Elon Musk Fired?

After the poll launched on Sunday, it was deleted, and people eagerly wanted to know if he would resign. He posted a Tweet confirming he is searching for his replacement.

After 122 million followers voted for him to resign from the post, he confirmed he would stay as an Executive and run the software and servers term.

The CEO has sold billions of dollars of Telsa to take over the finance of Twitter, so he will probably not resign or sell Twitter to anyone.

But he has mentioned he will replace someone he will find as a competitor. Many people have passed negative comments after he shared a tweet about replacement on Tuesday.

Even if Musk finds a new person to head Twitter, he will still be the owner and ultimate decision-maker at the Company. So, there will probably be a few changes as Musk will be the owner.

Musk officially owned the social media between May-June, and he almost fired half of the team members.

Many of them complained about his management. Also, the UN tweeted that media freedom was “not a toy.”

Additionally, the poll was pulled many people wanted him to resign, so people disliked Musk being the owner or the CEO of Twitter.
