Country music legend Dolly Parton will star in the Dallas Cowboys Thanksgiving game halftime performance, also known as the Salvation Army Red Kettle Kickoff, on November 23rd.

The Cowboys are set to take on the Washington Commanders at 4:30 ET. The game is one of three to be played on Thanksgiving day and will be aired on CBS.

Parton, 77, announced the performance on X (formerly Twitter) on Monday.

The video shows the Cowboys cheerleaders bedazzling a Cowboys helmet, a football, a Salvation Army bucket and a jersey with ‘Parton’ embedded on the back. It then cuts to Parton herself, in sparkly Cowboys gear. ‘I’ll see ya’ll this Thanksgiving,’ Parton says in the promo.

‘Can’t wait to see everyone at the Salvation Army Red Kettle Kickoff Halftime Show during the Dallas Cowboys game. Tune in to CBS Sports, November 23, Thanksgiving Day, at 3:30 P.M. CST for a performance that will rock,’ Parton captioned.

The Cowboys Thanksgiving intermission is the second most-viewed halftime show next to the Super Bowl.

Parton joins a long list of country acts to star in the performance including Luke Bryan, Luke Combs, Carrie Underwood and Keith Urban.

The game has also showcased artists across different genres such as Selena Gomez, the Jonas Brothers, Enrique Iglesias and Pitbull.

The Cowboys won 31 of their 54 Turkey Day games since the tradition started in 1966. The first Cowboys Thanksgiving halftime show in 1997 starred the ‘Queen of Country’ Reba McEntire.

26 years later, another country icon and 12-time Grammy winner will take the stage in front of 80,000 live spectators and millions of television viewers.
