James Middleton is now a dad for the first time because his wife, Alizee Thevenet, had their first baby.
The 36-year-old, who is Princess Kate’s younger brother, was seen in Notting Hill with his wife and the new baby on Tuesday.
The new baby is a cousin to the Prince and Princess of Wales’s three children: Prince George, who is 10 years old, Princess Charlotte, who is eight, and Prince Louis, who is five.
James and Alizee haven’t shared details about the birth yet, including the birth date, gender, or name.
But it seems the baby was born recently because on their anniversary, September 12, James posted a lovely picture of his wife with the caption: “The best is yet to come.”
The happy couple, who got married in September 2011, stepped out as parents for the first time on Tuesday. James was seen pushing a Silver Cross pram that costs £795, while his wife walked alongside him.
In pictures from the Daily Mail, James was wearing navy pants, brown boots, a green jacket, and a bright yellow scarf.
Alizee, a 33-year-old financial analyst, was wearing a blue shirt and jeans, along with a brown suede coat and a fur gilet.
James first shared the news about their baby on Instagram in July. He posted a picture of his wife in an olive green dress with their dog Mable and added: “We couldn’t be more excited … well Mable might be.”
The 36-year-old, who has talked openly about how his dogs have helped him with his mental health, said the past year has been tough after the loss of his dog Ella.
He said, “It was a very difficult start to the year after losing my beloved Ella. However, we will end the year with the most precious little addition to our growing family.”

“Today marks 6 months since my darling Ella passed away. I miss her every single day, but I am so grateful for the time we had together. She was my best friend and my constant companion. She was always there for me, no matter what.
Ella taught me so much about life, love, and friendship. She taught me how to be present, how to enjoy the simple things, and how to love unconditionally. I am so lucky to have had her in my life.
I know that Ella would want me to be happy, so I am trying to live my life to the fullest in her honor. I am also continuing her legacy by supporting the work of @petsastherapy, a charity that provides animal-assisted therapy to people in need.
Ella, I love you and I miss you more than words can say.”
