A man has been rushed to hospital after he was allegedly stabbed multiple times with a samurai sword.Â
Emergency services were called to Ann Street at Lidcombe, in western Sydney, following reports of a stabbing at about 12am on Sunday.
A man, 26, was allegedly assaulted by another man who was wielding the sword.Â
He suffered multiple stab wounds to his arms and legs.Â

Paramedics treated the man before taking him to Westmead Hospital in a serious but stable condition.
Police arrested another man, 25, at the scene of the incident.
A crime scene has been established as officers investigate. Â
The two men are not known to each other.Â
