Kova Patisserie, which also has branches in Soho and South Kensington, was targeted by an unknown assailant on Feb. 21.
“As some of you may have known, our Chinatown boutique was attacked at 3:34am on Sunday,” the bakery said in a recent Instagram post. “It wasn’t a random attack, the suspect came fully prepared and splashed the shopfront with black paint.”
A screenshot of CCTV footage was also shared on the bakery’s Instagram account. The image shows the perpetrator carrying a paint bucket while wearing a face mask.
The bakery is offering 2,000 pounds ($2,821.39) to anyone who discloses information that may be valuable to local law enforcement.
