The family did not provide additional details on her demise besides that it was caused by “an accidental drug overdose.”
The Parkhurst family requested donations to a foundation called The Brain & Behavior Research, stating the mental struggles their daughter experienced throughout her life. She had been diagnosed with bipolar disorder (BPD) and addiction.
Six months before her death, Laney had posted a photo of a pink coffin being buried on her Instagram.
Fellow makeup artist Gabriella Accarino paid her tribute and remembered Laney as her “sister and soulmate,” noting her genuineness, talent, and beautiful soul.

Laney Chantal was rumored to be the girlfriend of Violent J. She frequently featured the American rapper-wrestler on her Instagram posts.
However, neither of them ever confirmed if they were dating.
Laney was previously married to Jeordie “Twiggy Ramirez” White of Marilyn Manson. They tied the knot in July 2014 but separated afterward.
