Phil Foden’s son Ronnie has gained over two million Instagram followers in his first two days on the social media platform after rising to fame during Man City’s Treble-winning celebrations.

Pep Guardiola’s side completed the historic feat earlier this month after beating Inter Milan in the Champions League final, following up their Premier League and FA Cup triumphs.

As City celebrated with the Champions League trophy, Ronnie was brought on the pitch by his dad to join in the fun as the pair posed for pictures along with Phil’s partner Rebecca Cooke.

Ronnie didn’t stop there, as he was also seen laughing with goalscoring sensation Erling Haaland on the pitch, and they took a selfie together in the dressing room.

He was then on his dad’s shoulders when City’s stars serenaded their match-winner by singing ‘Rodri’s On Fire’ to the tune of Gala’s 90s hit ‘Freed From Desire’.

This left fans joking that he was everywhere that night, and they seemingly can’t get enough of the four-year-old after he set up an Instagram account on Sunday.

Within the first two days, Ronnie has already accumulated 2.1 million followers, despite only putting up two posts to date.

They are both from that famous night in Istanbul, with one of him being taken down the tunnel on his dad’s shoulders, and the other of him having his picture taken with Phil and City icon Sergio Aguero.

He has also posted a story of himself on holiday with his parents in Mykonos, Greece.

The story includes Ronnie taking centre stage once more as he dances on a table, while there are also clips of him on the beach and going on a fishing trip with his dad.

Ronnie still has a way to go to catch his dad, who has 8.6 million followers, but he is well on his way to doing that.

Ronnie has become a viral star, with memes featuring his face popping up on Tiktok and Twitter.

Even odder were the clips, from Mexico and South America, of pictures of Ronnie on the walls of classrooms.

He has earned the nickname ‘El Wey’, or ‘The Dude’, among his new legion of fans on the other side of the world.

City’s celebrations continued for four days after the final, with Jack Grealish not even changing his kit as the team partied on a rooftop at the JW Marriott Hotel into Sunday morning.

The England winger was filmed rapping as a DJ pumped out music until dawn broke and beyond.

After boarding a flight back to Manchester on Sunday, some players decided they had not partied enough and flew on a private jet to Ibiza to celebrate in a private area in Ushuaia, known for its DJ sets.

They then returned to England for an open-top bus parade through Manchester in front of thousands of their fans on Monday, and Ronnie made another appearance.

He was seen being carried by his dad as City’s players were introduced on stage before making their way onto the bus.

Grealish grabbed most of the headlines once again during the bus parade, and later admitted that he had turned up to England’s training camp on Tuesday ‘a little hungover’ but claimed he had no regrets about his celebrations.

Grealish’s popularity has only grown over recent weeks, and fans’ interest in the other star of that week – Ronnie – does not appear to be dimming either, based on his staggering Instagram follower count.
