Tyson Fury confirmed he has signed a contract to face Deontay Wilder for a third time on July 24 and sent a warning to the Bronze Bomber that he will knock him out in one round.

Sportsmail reported that the Gypsy King was set to face the American on July 24 after his team won an arbitration hearing stating he had a right to a third fight.

Fury, who beat Wilder to become WBC champion in February 2020, had been set to face Anthony Joshua in Saudi Arabai in August but will now first have to get past Wilder once again.

By way of a curtain raiser for Josh Taylor’s victory in his historic bid to become the undisputed four-belt light-welterweight champion, Fury told the 1,000 fans in attendance and the American TV audience: ‘I will knock out Wilder on July 24 in this town and I’ll knock out Anthony Joshua as soon as he likes after that.’

The Brit also confirmed he had signed on the dotted line in a video posted on Twitter by Top Rank Boxing.

In the video, Fury said: ‘Wilder three fight because Wilder’s a p****, excuse-maker and a s***house. Shall we do it and put him out of his misery?

‘Put him seriously smashed to bits, crack the other side of his skull, give him another shoulder injury, another bicep injury, a leg injury, nut**** injury, the whole lot.’

The camera then showed Fury putting pen to paper before he fired another warning to Wilder.

‘Wilder, contract’s signed, you’re getting smashed,’ he said.

‘When I say smashed, I mean smash, smash, smash. You’re getting knocked out, end of, one round, you’re going, I’ve got your soul, your mojo, everything. I own you.’

The 32-year-old first fought Wilder in Los Angeles in 2018, with the American retaining his strap on a split decision draw.

Joshua, meanwhile has been ordered to defend his WBO heavyweight title against mandatory challenger Oleksandr Usyk.
