Euphoria star Angus Cloud died from an ‘accidental overdose’ of cocaine, meth and fentanyl.

The 25-year-old was found unresponsive in his family home in Oakland, California, on July 31, and pronounced dead on the scene by responders.

Alameda County Coroner’s office said: ‘Angus Cloud died from a lethal combination of fentanyl, cocaine, methamphetamine and more, in what is ruled as an accidental overdose.

‘Angus suffered from acute intoxication from the combination of drugs, which also included benzodiazepine.’

A week before his death, he had traveled to Ireland to bury his father, who died in May after a ‘brief battle with cancer’.

Conor Hickey died on May 18, aged 65, leaving the actor ‘struggling with grief’.

His family initially suggested that the actor may have committed suicide, before clarifying that it was ‘abundantly clear that he did not intend to check out of this world.’

Cloud’s mother, Lisa, called 911 and said he had suffered a ‘possible overdose’, telling authorities that he didn’t have a pulse.

Law enforcement sources say Cloud did not leave behind a note before his death, according to TMZ.

His mother posted an emotional tribute to her son, who played Fezco O’Neill on the HBO show, saying: ‘Friends, I want you all to know I appreciate your love for my family at this shattered time.

‘I also want you to know that although my son was in deep grief about his father’s untimely death from mesothelioma, his last day was a joyful one.’

The Euphoria star reportedly ‘reorganized’ his room shortly before his death, with his mother adding that he mentioned wanting to help family members with college.
