Follow Mail Sport’s live blog for round-by-round updates and undercard results from Saudi Arabia’s Day of Reckoning card including Anthony Joshua vs Otto Wallin and Deontay Wilder vs Joseph Parker.

Round Five: Huge shots being thrown on the inside

Dubois lands a flurry of punches at the start of the round but he is getting dragged into the fight that Miller wants.

There is a pattern emerging here as Dubois starts rounds well but then Miller comes on strong.

We are halfway through this 10-rounder and Dubois must be ahead on the scorecards, but Miller is very much still in this.

Round Four: Marking around Daniel Dubois’ eye

Dubois is still getting the better of this in the early stages of round four and lands a lovely jab that draws a gasp from the crowd, but he has some marking around his eye.

Then Miller catches Duboid cleanly! All of a sudden, Dubois looks very tired and it’s Miller who is on top. That’s a clear round for the American.

Round Three: Fast pace with little to split the pair

Dubois is starting to hold his feet more and he gets the better of an exchange on the inside in the opening minute of round three.

Miller is having very little success when loading up, but his jab is starting to work well as he catches Dubois on multiple occasions in the final minute.

Cristiano Ronaldo is in the building!

Cristiano Ronaldo has taken his seat at ringside.

Round Two: Daniel Dubois remains on top

Miller is coming forward with a high guard and Dubois fancies his chances of going through the middle with the right uppercut.

He starts to have more success in the second round, but Miller is a tough cookie and takes them well.

Miller then has a flurry at the end of the round, that will give him some confidence.

Round One: Daniel Dubois targets the body

Dubois is on the back foot but Miller hardly throws a punch in the first round.

Dubois is clearly targeting the body and a couple of punches stray low, but it’s a clear first round in favour of the Brit.

Daniel Dubois vs Jarrell Miller gets underway…

Ding ding… here we go! You don’t want to take your eyes of this one…

Timings for tonight’s main events

As the ring announcements are made for Dubois vs Miller, here is a quick reminder of when we expect to see Deontay Wilder and Anthony Joshua in the ring later…

Deontay Wilder vs Joseph Parker – approximately 9:30pm (UK time)

Anthony Joshua vs Otto Wallin – approximately 10:30pm (UK time)

Dubois makes his way to the ring…

And here comes Dubois. A lot of pressure on this young man, can he come through this test and put his loss to Oleksandr Usyk behind him?

Here comes Jarrell Miller…

The American makes his way to the ring as he looks to upset the odds and beat Daniel Dubois.

Jarrell Miller targeting Anthony Joshua after blowing 2019 world title shot

Jarrell Miller has not just been focused on Dubois this week as he has also engaged in trash talk with Anthony Joshua.

Miller failed multiple drugs tests in the build-up to his scheduled fight with AJ in 2019, but has not given up hope of getting another chance against him, and a win against Dubois could edge him nearer to that fight.

Jarrell Miller sharpening up on the pads

We are being made to wait, but I promise Dubois vs Miller is on the way!

Right now, Miller is on the pads in his dressing room. He looks to be conserving his energy after weighing in at almost 24 stone yesterday.

Jarrell Miller pushed Daniel Dubois at the weigh-in

There has been plenty of back and forth between Dubois and Miller this week, and the controversial American pushed his rival after weighing in almost 100 pounds heavier than him yesterday.

Daniel Dubois going through his final warm-up

We’ve had a bit of a pause from the live action simply because of how quickly the first four fights have finished.

But we will be seeing Daniel Dubois up against Jarrell Miller next in a crossroads fight for both men.

Tony Bellew gives his verdict on tonight’s fights

Former cruiserweight champion Tony Bellew has just told TNT Sports that Deontay Wilder beating Joseph Parker would represent the best win of his career.

He has also warned Daniel Dubois to be careful if his fight with Jarrell Miller gets into the latter rounds.

Chris Eubank Jr arrives

We are expecting some of boxing’s biggest stars to be in attendance tonight, and Chris Eubank Jr has just entered the building.

Eubank Jr is still looking for his next opponent after talks over a grudge match with Conor Benn broke down.

Main event predictions

We are just a couple of fights away from seeing Deontay Wilder and then Anthony Joshua step into the ring.

Mail Sport has looked at how fighters have predicted tonight’s main two fights will pan out…

Mark De Mori loses in embarrassing fashion

We’ve seen three very good knockouts, and one, well let’s just say not so good one.

Here’s a look at how Mark De Mori was stopped inside two minutes by Filip Hrgovic earlier this evening…

Daniel Dubois getting in the zone

Daniel Dubois is getting is hands taped as he prepares to face Jarrell Miller.

Can the Brit get his career back on track with a big win tonight?

Frank Warren hails Kabayel performance

It is hard not to be impressed by what Kabayel just produced, and promoter Frank Warren was blown away.

He has asked who Kabayel could target next, and I think fans would definitely be interested in seeing him again very soon.

Halfway through the card already!

Well, that’s four fights down, four to go.

All four fights have finished inside the distance so far, and here’s a reminder of how Jai Opetaia finished Ellis Zorro in spectacular fashion earlier.

Agit Kabayel: ‘I shocked the world’

‘When you talked with 10 guys, nine guys said I couldn’t win,’ Kabayel says as he speaks in the ring.

‘When they give me the next opportunity, I am ready!’

He certainly looked ready tonight, that was some performance.

Breathtaking body work from Kabayel

That was so clinical from Kabayel as he targeted the body of Makhmudov and left him slumped on the ropes.

Good refereeing as well to call it off, Makhmudov could have no complaints.

RIYADH, SAUDI ARABIA - DECEMBER 23: Agit Kabayel punches Arslanbek Makhmudov during the WBA Inter-Continental & North American Boxing Federation Heavyweight title fight between Arslanbek Makhmudov and Agit Kabayel during the Day of Reckoning: Fight Night at Kingdom Arena on December 23, 2023 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. (Photo by Richard Pelham/Getty Images)

Down goes Makhmudov…three times! And it’s over! Kabayel wins!

Kabayel attacks the body and Makhmudov has no answer. He goes down three times in quick succession and the fight is waved off. What an upset win for Kabayel!

Kabayel wobbles Makhmudov in the third!

Kabayel starts to put his punches together and lands cleanly on Makhmudov who somehow stays on his feet.

Makhmudov is also landing as he refuses to give in but that was definitely a Kabayel round.

Big punches from the start

Makhmudov is certainly not the most technical fighter, some may say crude, as he misses by a distance with some of his punches.

But if he lands, Kabayel will certainly feel it!

Straight down to business

Makhmudov is straight on the front foot and looking for single shots, but Kabayel counters well in the opening round.

Not a lot in it, but it feels like it won’t take long for this fight to ignite.

Could be another quick finish on the cards

Makhmudov and Kabayel are both in the ring with the fourth fight of the evening set to get underway.

The first three bouts have ended early, and you’d be brave to bet on this one going the distance.

The fights are coming thick and fast

We have already had three of our eights fights scheduled for this evening.

Next yp will be another heavyweight fight between Russia’s Arslanbek Makhmudov and Germany’s Agit Kabayel.

If you haven’t seen Makhmudov before, he may just be the scariest looking

heavyweight I’ve ever seen!

Anthony Crolla: ‘No shame for Zorro, he’s lost to a special fighter’

Back in the TNT Sports studio, Anthony Crolla and Carl Frampton are both in agreement that Opetaia is a ‘special fighter’. Frampton also labels him a ‘violent puncher’ who is a pleasure to watch.

We only saw three minutes of him this evening but it is hard to disagree. That was mightily impressive.

Jai Opetaia: ‘He was too hesitant and he got clipped’

Opetaia is now speaking in the ring and feels Zorro paid the price for being too cautious.

Opetaia says ‘I’m excited for the next step’. When asked what is next on the agenda, he offers a chilling warning as he adds: ‘You just put the guys in front of me and I knock them out’.

Bang on the chin from Jai Opetaia

It’s a devastating knockout from Opetaia.

Thankfully, Zorro is back to his feet, but that was a huge shot he took as he loses his unbeaten record.

RIYADH, SAUDI ARABIA - DECEMBER 23: Ellis Zoro is knocked down by Jai Opetaia during the Cruiserweight fight between Jai Opetaia and Ellis Zoro during the Day of Reckoning: Fight Night at Kingdom Arena on December 23, 2023 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. (Photo by Richard Pelham/Getty Images)

One and done, Jai Opetaia wins in spectacular fashion!

Wow, what a knockout from Jai Opetaia!

Ellis Zorro had actually made a decent start, but one huge left hook over the top sends Zorro straight to the canvas.

With his head on the bottom rope, there is no chance of him continuing.

Jai Opetaia vacates IBF title

Opetaia is no longer a world champion after vacating his belt earlier this week.

He has explained why he made the tough decision to give up his belt.

Aussie cruiserweight Jai Opetaia set to take to the ring

Jai Opetaia will be in the ring next to take on Britain’s Ellis Zorro in the cruiserweight division.

Opetaia is widely seen as the best 200lb fighter on the planet, and he is also backing an upset later on tonight’s card.

Andy Ruiz eyes 2024 return

Andy Ruiz, who famously beat Anthony Joshua in 2019, has vowed to return to the ring in 2024.

He has revealed to TNT Sports that he recently underwent shoulder surgery, but is in Saudi to look at potential future opponents as he aims to get back in the title mix.

What have you made of Anthony Joshua’s demeanour this week?

Anthony Joshua has looked razor-focused this week in Saudi, but this has also led to some awkward interview moments.

Some fans have not been impressed with Joshua’s demeanour as he heads into a make-or-break fight tonight.

Filip Hrgovic wins in the first round

Well that didn’t last long!

It looked like a mismatch on paper and that’s exactly how it turned out. Hrgovic has stopped De Mori inside two minutes as he moves closer to a world title shot.

Flip Hrgovic up next

From one heavyweight fight to another as we move onto Filip Hrgovic against Mark De Mori.

Hrgovic is unbeaten and is the IBF No1 contender, but is risking his position against De Mori, who famously lost to David Haye back in 2016.

Frank Sanchez remains unbeaten

That victory for Sanchez extends his unbeaten record to 24-0 with one no contest.

A strong performance from the Cuban heavyweight in the end as he continues to work his way up the rankings.

The undercard has started…

The first fight of the night has just finished with Frank Sanchez stopping Junior Fa in the seventh round.

After a quiet start, Sanchez sent Fa to the canvas in the sixth round, and the fight was waved off the following round.

Will we see some devastating knockouts tonight?

Tonight’s card in Saudi Arabia features some of the biggest punchers on the planet.

Mail Sport has looked at the best knockouts from the fighters who are set to star in Riyadh this evening.

Eddie Hearn and Frank Warren finally work together

After years of back and forth between the pair, Eddie Hearn and Frank Warren are finally working together to put this card together.

Hearn has admitted they would be ‘idiots’ to not work together tonight, suggesting they could collaborate again in the future.

Sports stars set to be at ringside in Saudi Arabia

We have seen a sneak peak of who will be at ringside tonight, and it’s a star-studded line-up with Cristiano Ronaldo and Conor McGregor set to be in attendance.

Anthony Joshua fighting for respect

Anthony Joshua is rebuilding his career after successive losses to Oleksandr Usyk in 2021 and 2022.

Having previously been loved across the country, his popularity has waned in recent years, but a win tonight could see him start to win some fans over again.

Dubois vs Miller – Great showcase for the Brit

The spotlight on this huge card is great for someone like Dubois and if he can put Miller to the sword convincingly, he’ll think he’s right back in the mix with the big boys. Jeff Powell looks ahead to the fight here:

Can Parker or Wallin pull it off?

Joseph Parker and Otto Wallin certainly aren’t walkovers on paper.

The Saudis want competitive fights rather than hype-builders and they could have just that tonight.

It will be fascinating to see the kind of form the Brit and American are in against worthy opposition ahead of a potential meeting themselves in 2024.

Chess, property and biking – AJ’s home life

He’s a man dedicated to his craft but AJ has plenty of other outside interests when he’s switching off from the day job.

How good was this!?

Has AJ stumbled across winning partnership?

The turnover of coaches has been alarming for AJ but he seems to be enjoying a fruitful relationship with Ben Davison, could this be a new era under his tutelage?

Good afternoon and welcome!

What a night of boxing we have in store later. I don’t think there’s much doubt that this is the deepest card we’ve ever seen in terms of competitive match-ups and talent – which has to be a move in the right direction for boxing.

Wilder vs Joshua will surely loom large on the horizon but they must first overcome tricky opponents tonight who will be out to spoil the party. Stay tuned for all the build-up and then live action from the pre-lims and main card.

Key Updates

  • Down goes Makhmudov…three times! And it’s over! Kabayel wins!
