According to reports, he contracted the virus from a $exual partner. Despite his illness, he apologized to Ice Cube and left a final message for his fans.

Eazy-E passed away on March 26, 1995, from AIDS-induced pneumonia, just one month after his diagnosis. He was 30 years old, although some reports stated that he was 31 due to an incorrect date of birth.

He was buried on April 7, 1995, at Rose Hills Memorial Park in Whittier, California. Over 3,000 people, including his former manager, Jerry Heller and D.J. Yella, attended his funeral.

Eazy-E was buried in a gold casket and dressed in a flannel shirt, jeans, and his signature Compton hat.

His final album, “Str8 off tha Streetz of Muthaphukkin Compton,” was released ten months after his death on January 30, 1996.
