Concertgoers held phone lights and torches in a goosebump-inducing show of support with Anisovych as she performed a melodic rendition of the song, titled ‘Ukraine’s glory and freedom are not dead yet in English.
Some of the biggest celebrities in Ukraine and Poland performed at the concert, dubbed “Together with Ukraine,” in support of Polish Humanitarian Action.
All profits from the event will support Polish Humanitarian Action, a non-profit that aids victims of humanitarian crises and natural catastrophes.
Over two million individuals have crossed the border into Poland since Russia invaded Ukraine.
According to the Polish authorities, almost three-quarters of them have remained in Poland.
