Destiny Udogie, born on November 28, 2002, is an Italian professional footballer currently playing as a left-back for Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League. Udogie’s football journey began in the Hellas Verona youth system, and he made his debut in Serie A on November 8, 2020, in a 2–2 draw against Milan. Moving forward, on July 15, 2021, Udogie went on a season-long loan to Udinese, which included an obligation to buy. During his first season with Udinese, he made 37 appearances, mainly playing as a left wingback, and contributed five goals to the team’s tally.

Then, on August 16, 2022, Tottenham Hotspur officially announced their signing of Udogie in a permanent transfer deal that extends until 2027. In a unique arrangement, Udogie was immediately loaned back to Udinese for the 2022–23 season. Udogie’s debut for Tottenham came on August 13, 2023, in the opening fixture of the 2023-24 Premier League season, where he started in an away match against Brentford.

Although born in Italy, Udogie’s heritage traces back to Nigeria. He has also represented Italy as a youth international. One notable moment in his career occurred on September 3, 2021, when he made his debut with the Italy U21 squad. He played as a starter in a qualifying match, helping secure a 3–0 victory against Luxembourg.
