Fortunately, Jones didn’t have to do jail time and pay a total $550 bond for his release

How Did Tammy Wynette’s Husband, George Jones, Die?

American country musician George Jones, 81, passed away on 26 April 2013. His death shocked the country music industry. Reportedly, Jones had died from hypoxic respiratory failure.

Also, his wife Tammy Wynette passed away in the same month, years ago, on 6 April 1998, at 55.

Jones’s medical report suggested that he died of hypoxic respiratory failure. It is a condition that occurs when too little oxygen is present in the body to function correctly.

According to the singer’s publicists, Webster & Associates, Jones was admitted to a hospital on 18 April.

He had a high fever and irregular blood pressure. Jones died in the hospital on 26 April after his condition worsened.

Moreover, his wife Tammy Wynette, involved in a similar profession, died of a blood clot in her lung. Yes, she was also rumored to die from drugs, but no credible evidence suggests Wynette died of drugs.

However, in the following years, random rumors and speculation spread that Jones’s wife, Wynette, may have died due to drug use.

There are quite similarities in the husband and wife’s death as they both died in the same month. According to the singer’s publicists, Webster & Associates, Jones died of hypoxic respiratory failure.

Both had a respiratory-related failure, which caused their death.
